Fort Pierce Alumni Chapter
The first organizational meeting for the Fort Pierce Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity was held on the evening of November 11, 1981 at the home of Earnest Edwards. Present at this meeting were larry Brown, Earnest Edwards, John Walker, Booker T. Eckles and Lorenzo Williams.
These men envisioned the establishment of a local chapter of the fraternity in order to further the goals and purpose of the organization. Approximately four month later, the dream of these five men became a reality when the chapter was given its charter on April 17, 1982.
